We have identified a living direct male descendent of John Chisholm XVI chief through a paper genealogy trail. This man has
his DNA tested and the results are on record. These results will help pinpoint the origin of the Clan Chisholm and will also
lay down a marker for others to use as a comparison. Anyone-else with a matching DNA will also be descended from what at this
time looks to be the line of the original chiefs. However to substantiate this result we need to find other male descendent's
also with a paper-trail that leads back to the original chiefs line preferably from a different branch of the family.
